Chia Pudding with Fried Oatmeal and Blackberries Instructions

  1. Pour natural unsweetened yogurt or kefir into a glass. Place chia seeds in it. Toss yogurt with chia and refrigerate. If you are preparing a breakfast dish, then it is convenient to do this in the evening – overnight the chia will swell perfectly and the yogurt will acquire the desired consistency. If for dessert, let the seeds brew for at least 3 hours.

  2. For fried oatmeal in a skillet or saucepan, melt the butter and add the sugar mixed with the cinnamon. Fry the sugar in butter for a minute, until the sand is wet. Then add 4 tablespoons of oatmeal. Fry the flakes until they turn light brown. Transfer the toasted oatmeal to a plate and let cool. Such a blank can be prepared in advance and stored in a jar at room temperature.

  3. When the chia seeds are swollen in the yogurt, place the pudding in glasses, taking up no more than 1/2 the volume of each glass. Put the fried oatmeal on top of the chia pudding. And the third layer of pudding is the washed and dried blackberries. Depending on the season and availability, you can use other berries or their mixes, as well as pieces of fruit.
