Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 0.5 ½ cup crème fraîche
  • 3 slices cheddar cheese, diced
  • 3 slices ham, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 4 tablespoon flour
  • 8 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • clarified butter

Instructions

  1. Cut into the chicken breasts and season as needed. Mix the crème fraiche with the cheddar cheese and diced ham and fill the chicken breasts with this mixture.
  2. Then turn the breasts one after the other in the flour, a mixture of egg and milk and the breadcrumbs (homemade breadcrumbs made from hard rolls, pretzels, etc. taste best).
  3. Tip: If you want, you can double bread the chicken breasts.
  4. Now, if required, melt clarified butter in a pan about 2 cm high and fry the cordon bleu on both sides until golden brown. Serve immediately.
