Ingredients

  • 250 g rice, (or two bas 125 each)
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 100 ml orange juice
  • 800 g chicken breast fillet (s) (4 pieces approx. 200)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 100 ml rum, brown
  • 400 ml chicken broth
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix honey with orange juice. Wash the chicken breast fillets, pat dry and marinate in the orange honey for about 2 hours.
  2. Remove the chicken breast fillets from the marinade and drain. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the chicken breast well on both sides and continue to cook covered for approx.
  3. In the meantime, cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet. Peel the onion and garlic cloves, dice the onion, mash the garlic cloves and add to the chicken breast and sauté. Remove meat and keep warm.
  4. Deglaze the stock with rum and chicken stock. Add the crème fraîche. Reduce the sauce by half and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve the chicken breast with rice and sauce.
