Chicken Tabaka (Chicken Dish)

Of course, there are many ways to prepare chicken, although the principle is the same – it is fried under load. I offer you my version of cooking this fragrant, delicious chicken.

Ingredients

  • Chicken – 1 pc. (up to 0.9-1 kg)
  • Vegetable oil – 1-2 tablespoon.
  • Seasoning for chicken tobacco
  • Butter – 30 g

For garnish:

  • Potatoes – 4 pcs.
  • Onions – 1 pc.

Directions

  1. better to choose chicken weighing no more than 900-1000 g. Beat well, but carefully. When I asked my husband to do this, he practically turned chicken bones to dust! So, now I don’t trust him with this business!
  2. Chop the garlic, mix with coarse salt, butter, and spices for chicken tobacco or dry adjika.
  3. Grate the chicken on both sides with the resulting mixture. Leave to marinate for at least an hour, but longer is better.
  4. In a wide frying pan, preferably with a thick bottom, heat the oil and butter.
  5. Place the chicken breast side down. It is better to use a large burner, but starting over medium heat, then reduce the heat to minimum power.
  6. I do not have a special frying pan for tobacco chicken, so I fill a large, wide saucepan with water and place it directly on top of the chicken as a load. We set the time – 15-20 minutes.
  7. We remove the load, turn the chicken over. Again we put the load and fry the chicken tobacco for another 15-20 minutes.
  8. Put the chicken on a dish.
  9. In the same pan where the tobacco chicken was fried, I fry the onion and potatoes in slices, it turns out spicy and delicious.
