Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 2 egg (s)
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 200 g butter, melt
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 200 ml milk

For the dough:

  • 75 g desiccated coconut

For the second dough:

  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoon rum

For the set:

  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream
  • Chips (coconut chips)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat. Grease a springform pan and chill.
  2. Beat the eggs with the sugar until thick and creamy. Then gradually pour in the melted butter while stirring.
  3. Mix flour with baking powder, stir in with salt and milk.
  4. Now remove 350 g of the dough and stir with desiccated coconut.
  5. Stir cocoa and rum into the rest of the batter.
  6. Now alternately place a spoonful of light and a spoonful of dark dough side by side in the mold until the dough is used up. Then smooth the surface a little with one of the spoons. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes.
  7. Let cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then place on a wire rack and let cool down.
  8. For the frosting, melt the chocolate in a water bath and add the cream while stirring to create a smooth cream. Let the mixture cool down a little.
  9. Then brush the cooled cake with it. Garnish with coconut chips.
