Chicken Salad with Prunes “Ladies Whim”

A simple but delicious layered salad for the festive table. The duet “chicken and prunes” gives an excellent result. I recommend it in salads for the New Year. So, if you are looking for New Year’s salads or a salad recipe for any holiday, prepare the Ladies Caprice salad.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast – 500 g
  • Chicken eggs – 4-5 pcs.
  • Fresh cucumber – 1-2 pcs.
  • Prunes – 150-200 g
  • Walnuts – 100 g
  • Greens to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Mayonnaise – 100-150 g

Directions

  1. Wash the chicken fillet. Put in a saucepan, cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, season with salt. Cook over low heat until tender (about 30 minutes).
  2. Pour eggs with cold water, salt (1 teaspoon), put on fire, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Cool down. Clear.
  3. Grate chicken eggs.
  4. Cool chicken fillet, tear into pieces by hand or cut into cubes.
  5. Wash, peel the prunes. Cut into slices.
  6. Wash fresh cucumbers, cut into cubes.
  7. Crush walnuts with a rolling pin, chop.
  8. Collect the “Ladies’ Caprice” salad with chicken and prunes. 1 layer – cucumber straws. 2nd layer – chicken. Season with salt, pepper, make a net of mayonnaise
  9. 3rd layer – half a prune.
  10. 4th layer – eggs. Add a little salt, make a mesh of mayonnaise.5 layer – the remaining prunes. Layer 6 – walnuts. Wash and chop the herbs, decorate the salad. Chill the salad. “Ladies’ whim” salad with chicken and prunes is ready
