Ingredients

  • 1 head white cabbage, sliced into 2 mm strips
  • 2 tablespoon spice mixture, without salt, e.g. herbs from Provence
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 2 small chilli pepper (s), e.g. thai bird eyes, cut into rings
  • salt and pepper
  • oil
  • Apple Cider Vinegar

Instructions

  1. Put the cabbage strips in a saucepan and mix well with the salt and the herbs. Let it steep for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  2. Knead everything vigorously by hand and fold in the remaining ingredients. Then steam for a maximum of 20 minutes. After cooling, season with salt, pepper, vinegar and oil.
  3. Works well as a salad or, without vinegar, as a warm side dish.
