Ingredients

  • 500 g low-fat quark
  • 6 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled pepper, black, from the mill
  • 2 teaspoons, heaped paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 2 spring onion (s)
  • 4 slices bread (rustic spice bread)

Instructions

  1. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 190 degrees Celsius for 6 - 8 minutes until crispy.
  2. In the meantime, put the low-fat quark, olive oil, chilli flakes, salt, pepper and paprika powder in a small bowl and stir well with a fork or small whisk.
  3. Cut the spring onions into thin rings.
  4. Take the spiced bread out of the oven, brush generously with quark and sprinkle with spring onions. Sprinkle the bread with salt again.
  5. Tip:
  6. Brush the bread just before serving to prevent it from becoming soggy.
  7. This quark also goes well with meat, potatoes and vegetable sticks.
