Chocolate Cake with Cream Cheese

Make this chocolate cake with cream cheese for a family holiday. It turned out to be very tasty, moderately sweet, and very satisfying. The guests were delighted! I definitely recommend it for cooking!

Cooking: 3 hours

Ingredients

  • For cakes:
    Flour – 220 g
    Sugar – 160 g
    Butter (room temperature) – 150 g
    Eggs – 4 pcs.
    Milk – 150 ml
    Cocoa powder – 100 g
    Baking powder – 2 teaspoon.
    Vanillin – to taste

  • For the cream:
    Fat cream (35%) – 100-150 ml
    Cream cheese – 650 g
    Powdered sugar – 50 g
    Condensed milk – 0.5 cans

  • For glaze:
    Dark chocolate – 50 g
    Fat cream – 50 ml
    *
  • For decoration:
    Confectionery (sweets, cookies)

Instructions

  1. Cooking a biscuit. To do this, grind the softened butter with sugar. Add eggs to the resulting mass and beat with a mixer until smooth. In a separate container, mix all the bulk ingredients for the dough. Using a mixer, we combine the two masses obtained. Pour in milk.
  2. Put the resulting dough in a prepared heat-resistant mold (mold size – 22 cm), level it, and place in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 30 minutes. We check the readiness of the biscuit with a toothpick – it must remain dry.
  3. In the meantime, prepare the cake cream. Whip well-chilled cream with icing sugar. Add 400 g of cream cheese and continue beating the cream until smooth. Cover the finished cream with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for about an hour.
  4. Release the finished cooled biscuit from the shape, cut off the top, and cut into three equal cakes. Coat each cake well with chilled cream cheese.
  5. On top, level the cake with well-cooled cream, which I prepared separately from 250 grams of cream cheese and half a can of condensed milk. Beat these ingredients well, chill in the refrigerator, and only then proceed to level the cake. You can level a cake with improvised means, namely with a spatula, but if you have special pastry tools, you will get it much faster and more accurately.
  6. When the cake is leveled to the desired result, put it in the refrigerator for at least an hour, and only then start decorating the cake with chocolate. For the chocolate glaze, took 50 ml of heavy cream and 50 grams of dark chocolate, melted in the microwave.
  7. Decorate the cake with chocolate icing, making cute smudges. Decorate the cake with chocolates and cookies on top.
