Ingredients

  • 200 g walnuts, round, or hazelnuts
  • 90 g suar
  • 100 g chocolate, dark, melted
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 teaspoons amaretto
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ coffee powder, soluble
  • hazelnuts, or almonds, for decorating

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the coffee powder in the amaretto and mix well with the other ingredients. It becomes a thick, viscous mass.
  2. Shape small balls with wet hands and place on the prepared tray, or put small heaps on the tray with a teaspoon. Press a hazelnut or an almond on each, or press in a little with a fork.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 150 ° for about 15 minutes.
  4. Keep the buttons in a sealed jar.
  5. Makes approx. 45 pieces.
