Ingredients

  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 100 g marzipan
  • 100 g quark
  • 100 g natural yourt
  • 3 tablespoon amaretto
  • 200 ml cream
  • 5 apples
  • some lemon juice
  • some water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 100 g amarettini

For decoration:

  • Amarettini
  • Chocolate drops

Instructions

  1. Peel and finely chop the apples. In a saucepan with a little water (just cover the bottom), bring some lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla to the boil and simmer for a few minutes until the apples are nice and soft.
  2. Put half of the mascarpone and the marzipan in a bowl and mix well with a hand blender so that a homogeneous mixture is created. This step is sometimes a bit difficult due to the consistency of the marzipan. Mix in the remaining mascarpone, quark and yogurt. Season with the amaretto, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in.
  3. Crumble the amarettini and distribute between the dessert glasses. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over it, then pour half of the apple compote over it. Pour a second layer of cream and a second layer of apples into the glasses.
  4. Decorate the desserts nicely with anything you can think of; e.g., Amarettini, icing, chocolate chips, marzipan hearts, Christmas decorations, etc.
  5. Chill for 1 to 2 hours before serving.
