Ingredients

  • 375 grams flour
  • 1 point baking powder
  • 125 g oat flakes, instant
  • 175 grams sugar
  • 1 point vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 4 almond (s), ground bitter almonds
  • 4 cl rum
  • 1 pinch cardamom
  • 1 pinch nutmeg - flower
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 175 g butter
  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 125 g currants
  • 250 g raisins
  • 150 g almond (s), chopped
  • 100 g lemon peel, chopped
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g powdered suar

Instructions

  1. Sieve the flour with the baking powder into a bowl, the oat flakes, the sugar, the vanilla sugar, the salt, the bitter almonds, the rum, the spices, the eggs, the butter in flakes, the quark, the currants, the raisins, the almonds and add the lemon peel. Process all ingredients quickly into a smooth dough. If the dough sticks, add 1-2 tablespoons of oatmeal.
  2. Press the dough apart between cling film and form the stollen. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the stollen on it. Bake the Stollen in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
  3. Brush the hot Stollen several times with the butter and sprinkle with the sifted powdered sugar.
