  • 500 g flour, (wheat flour (type 1050))
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 40 g yeast
  • 300 ml wheat beer
  • 150 g sunflower seeds
  • Flour, for processing
  • Butter, for the tray
  • Milk, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with the salt in a bowl. Warm the beer slightly, crumble in the yeast and stir well. Add to the flour and knead everything into a smooth dough, finally knead in the sunflower seeds. Cover the dough and let it rise until its volume has doubled.
  2. Knead the dough again, shape it into a thick roll, divide it into 16 equal pieces and shape it into rolls. Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet and let rise for another 15 minutes. Then brush with milk. Possibly press a notch in the middle.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C on the middle rack for about 20 minutes.
