- 500g flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 150 grams sugar
- 200 g suar
- 3 egg (s)
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 150 g butter
- 1 kg fat (vegetable fat), white

- Mix the flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Knead with 150 g sugar, the eggs, salt and the cold butter in pieces with the dough hook of the hand mixer. Cover the dough and put it in a cool place for 30 minutes. Roll out the dough about 1 cm thick on a lightly floured work surface, then cut out the almonds with a round cutter (3-4 cm diameter). Heat the fat in a high saucepan or in the deep fryer to approx. 180 ° C, bake the almonds in portions in the hot fat until golden brown. Lift out with a slotted spoon, allow to drain on kitchen paper and toss in the 200 g sugar while it is still hot (you can also mix in a little cinnamon).
