Ingredients

  • 400 ml coconut milk
  • 400 ml water, possibly a little more
  • 150 g semolina (spelled semolina)
  • 2 tablespoon cane sugar
  • Lemon peel
  • vanilla
  • cinnamon and sugar or fruit puree

Instructions

  1. Mix coconut milk and water. Depending on how liquid you want the semolina you want to use a little more water. If the mixture with 400 ml of water is still too greasy for you, you can use a little more water.
  2. Add the lemon peel and / or vanilla to the saucepan with sugar and, if necessary, bring everything to a boil.
  3. Sprinkle in the semolina, bring to the boil again while stirring and allow to swell over a low heat.
  4. Serve the semolina with cinnamon and sugar or fruit sauce - we prefer red berries or applesauce.
