Ingredients
- 125 g butter, (or mararine)
- 200 g suar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 300 grams flour
- 3 egg (s)
- 1 packet baking powder
- 125 ml milk
- 0.5 ½ package desiccated coconut
- 125 g marzipan paste
- 200 g powdered suar
- 1 package chocolate decoration (chocolate chips)
- some water
- some food coloring, blue
- 1 packet biscuit (s), American cookies (8 pieces)

- First the muffins are prepared. To do this, stir the butter (or margarine) until frothy. Gradually stir in the sugar. Briefly stir in the eggs. Mix in flour and baking powder and stir in. Add milk. Pick out 24 (or better: 26) round chocolate chips and set aside. Stir the rest into the muffin batter. Fill the dough into 12 muffin tins (up to the brim) and bake in a muffin tray for approx. 20 - 25 minutes at 180 ° top / bottom heat.
- Meanwhile, knead the marzipan mixture with 75g powdered sugar and weigh approx. 4-5 g for each eye. Press the round, set aside chocolate chips into the marzipan balls.
- Color the desiccated coconut in a glass bowl with the blue food coloring.
- Make a frosting from powdered sugar, blue food coloring and water. This should be relatively thick. Brush the muffins with it and sprinkle with coconut flakes. Let the frosting dry.
- Then cut the cookie monster`s mouth (be careful not to let the muffin break apart) and stick a biscuit cut in half.
- Finally, secure the eyes with icing or toothpick halves. With the toothpick variant, however, make sure that the eaters are informed!
