Ingredients

  • 2 cans dough, fresh dough for croissants (contents the can 6 pieces)
  • 12 slices cooked ham
  • 200 g Gouda, medium-aed, whole or rated
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Grate the gouda.
  2. Roll up the croissant dough and cut into 12 triangles. Top with a slice of ham. Cut off the protruding edges of the ham. Spread 2/3 of the cheese on the dough pieces. Roll up the croissants from the narrow side and bend them into croissants.
  3. Mix the egg yolks with the cream and brush the croissants with it. Scatter the rest of the cheese.
  4. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Spread the croissants on top. Bake the baking trays one after the other in the hot oven for about 12-15 minutes. This improves the baking result.
  5. Electric oven 200 °, convection 175 °, gas level 3.
