Ingredients

  • 3 egg (s)
  • 100 g suar, brown
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (organic lemon), zest it
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled baking soda
  • 120 g cream cheese
  • 230 g low-fat quark
  • 120 g oatmeal, tender
  • 1 glass sour cherries
  • Icing sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Drain the sour cherries from the glass in a colander. The juice can be used for other purposes. Wash the lemon with hot water, rub dry and grate half of the lemon peel on a fine grater.
  2. Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, cane sugar and 1 tablespoon of hot water for about 3 minutes to a light cream. Stir in lemon zest, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and baking soda. Briefly stir in the cream cheese, low-fat quark and oat flakes. Fold in the cherries.
  3. Line a size 26 springform pan with baking paper. Pour in the dough and smooth it out. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack at 180 ° C for 40 - 45 minutes.
  4. Take out the cake, place on a wire rack and let cool down for 10 minutes. Remove the edge of the springform pan and let the cake cool completely.
  5. Dust with icing sugar if you like before serving.
