Shortcake with Cottage Cheese and Cherries

Today I propose to cook a delicate pie with cottage cheese and cherries. Shortbread dough literally melts in your mouth. And the curd filling with cherries enhances the pleasant impressions of this recipe.

Inredients

For the dough:

  • Wheat flour – 300-350 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Butter (soft) – 100 g + for greasing the mold
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Baking dough – 2 teaspoon

For filling:

  • Cottage cheese – 500 g
  • Frozen cherries – 350 g
  • Sour cream – 190 g
  • Sugar – 100 g

Directions

  1. Pour frozen cherries with warm water and leave for 15 minutes.
  2. Grind the butter with sugar.
  3. Beat in eggs, stir.
  4. Add baking powder.
  5. Sift flour.
  6. Knead the dough with your hands.
  7. Drain the defrosted cherries. Leave the cherries in a colander to drain excess liquid.
  8. Turn on the oven, set the temperature to 190 degrees.
    Grease the mold with oil. Put the dough into a mold and flatten with your hands, forming sides.
  9. Combine cottage cheese with sugar and sour cream.
  10. Add cherries to the curd filling. Mix.
  11. Place the filling on top of the dough.
  12. Send the shortcrust pastry pie with cottage cheese and cherries to an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
