Ingredients
For the dough:
- 300 grams flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 50 grams sugar
- 150 g mararine, soft
- 50 ml soy milk (soy drink)
- Fat for the shape
For the filling:
- 1 ½ kg apples
- 100 ml water
- 50 g raisins
- 100 g almond (s)
- Sauce thickener, lighter or cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 100 g marzipan paste
- 50 grams sugar
- possibly powdered sugar for dusting

- Wash, core and eighth (do not peel) the apples. Then simmer the apple wedges with water, sugar and raisins for about 20 minutes until they are soft.
- Now the apples are skimmed off and the remaining juice in the pot is thickened with a little sauce binder or starch. Chop the almonds and marzipan in a blender and mix with the cinnamon, apples and apple sauce and then leave to cool.
- For the dough, flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar and sugar are mixed thoroughly. Then margarine and soy milk are added and everything is kneaded into a smooth dough.
- 2/3 of the dough is rolled out in a round shape and then placed in a greased springform pan. Form a high edge. Prick the base with a fork and then prebake in the oven at 200 ° C for 10 minutes.
- Now put in the filling, roll out the lid from the remaining dough, place it over the cake and press the edge on. Put in the oven for another 20 minutes. After cooling e.g., sprinkle with powdered sugar.
