Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with the milk. Add the eggs and stir in the salt. Melt the butter and add it. Mix everything into a creamy, slightly runny batter. Place the dough in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to swell.
  2. Heat up a crepe pan and add a ladle of batter. Spread the dough evenly in it. When the batter is dry and bubbling, turn it over. Take the crepe out of the pan and roll it up. Repeat this process until the batter is used up.
  3. Cut the crepe rolls lengthways once. Cut thin strips approx. 3 mm wide from the cut crepe rolls.
  4. Use the strips as a soup insert. They are also suitable for freezing.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
