Ingredients

  • 1 kg currants, white, alternatively red
  • 500 g honey
  • 8 g tartar
  • 0.25 liter ¼ cognac
  • 2 ½ liters water

Instructions

  1. Juice the currants. Dissolve the honey in boiling water. Skimming. Then add the currant juice with tartar to the honey water. Stir vigorously for 15-20 minutes. As soon as the liquid becomes clear, mix with the cognac and pour into bottles.
  2. Let rest for 14 days before serving.
