Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in 300 ml of warm water. Mix flour and salt, add dissolved yeast and 500 ml of warm water. It is best to knead first with the dough hook of the hand mixer and then knead vigorously again by hand. Divide the dough into approx. 16 portions (approx. 120 g each), shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Leave a lot of space between the rolls as they will rise a lot. Now let rise covered for approx. 1 - 1.5 hours. It is best to cover it with a kitchen towel and put it in the oven, which you briefly warm up so that a warm environment is created and the yeast can rise better. Then brush the rolls with water, sprinkle with the seeds or cheese if necessary and cut about 1 - 2 cm with a sharp knife. Now bake the rolls at approx. 175 ° C for approx. 20 - 25 minutes.
