Ingredients

  • 250 g cheese, youn Gouda
  • 100 g onion (s), (fried onions)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 500g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons pizza seasoning
  • 150 g sausae, (poultry salami)
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 100 g mararine, (half-fat also possible)
  • 150 g tomato (s), passed
  • 300 g natural yourt
  • pepper
  • Milk, to thin the dough
  • Garlic granules

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Cut the Gouda and the chicken salami into small cubes. Melt the margarine and let it cool down a bit. In a large bowl, stir the eggs with the margarine until frothy. Then add the yoghurt and the tomatoes to the bowl and stir until smooth. Put the flour in another bowl. Add the baking powder, baking soda, salt, pepper, pizza spice, garlic granulate to taste, the fried onions and the cheese and salami cubes to the flour and mix everything well. Then stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture, tablespoon at a time. If the dough gets too dry and can no longer be mixed well, pour in a little milk from time to time until it is a smooth dough again. Fill the dough into molds. I prefer to use such small silicone muffin molds that I rinse out with cold water shortly before filling. Finally bake the muffins for about 30 minutes. Of course, the muffins taste best when they are warm. But they are also delicious when cold. I baked 30 smaller muffins from the amount of batter.
