Dessert “Meringue Baskets with Strawberries”

In summer, you want something airy, light. I suggest trying a meringue dessert with strawberries.
Ingredients
- Egg whites – 2 pcs.
- Powdered sugar – 2.5 tbsp
- Citric acid – on the tip of a knife
- Strawberries – 6-8 pcs.
Directions
- Preheat the oven to a temperature of 100-130 degrees.
- Beat the whites into a strong foam.
- Add powdered sugar (2 tablespoons), citric acid and beat again.
- Transfer the protein mass to a pastry bag and place it on a basket-shaped meringue baking sheet.
Bake meringues at a temperature of 100-130 degrees for 1-1.5 hours.
- Wash, peel and cut the strawberries into thin slices.
- Place the chopped strawberries in the meringue baskets, sprinkle the remaining strawberry icing sugar over the dessert, and immediately serve the strawberry meringue baskets.
