Dessert with Rusks

Ingredients

  • Chopped white crackers – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 2.5 cups
  • Water – 1 glass
  • Ground star anise – 1 pinch
  • Ground cinnamon – 1 pinch
  • Ground cloves – 1 pinch
  • Cocoa powder

Directions

  1. We prepare products for dessert from rusks, sugar, and spices.
  2. Pour water into a saucepan with a thick bottom.
  3. Add sugar and put the pan on the fire. Bring the sugar syrup to a full boil.
  4. Then add the spices.
  5. Pour in crackers.
  6. Cook the syrup with breadcrumbs for ten minutes.
  7. Then we leave the resulting mass in a cool place for 10 hours. I slightly improved this process by putting the cooled mass in the freezer. There it freezes in 30 minutes.
  8. After that we make balls. To do this, first scoop up a small portion with a teaspoon.
  9. Roll it in cocoa powder.
  10. We roll it with our palms into a ball.
  11. Here is such a simple, but delicious dessert made of rusks and sugar!
