Devil Cake

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160-170 ° top and bottom heat.
  2. Mix all ingredients together until a smooth, slightly firm dough is formed. Spread the dough evenly on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake the cake for about 20-25 minutes. Use a wooden stick to test that the cake is good.
  3. Let the cake cool down.
  4. Mix powdered sugar with lemon juice so that the sugar dissolves properly and a glaze that is not too runny is created. Spread on the cake.
  5. I always use a cup for the different ingredients. It`s even faster and easier because you only have to get 1 cup dirty.
  6. If you don`t want to use cups, take 300 g sugar, 250 g margarine and 300 g flour.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
