Ingredients

  • 3 large pear (s), firm
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 300 ml red wine
  • 250 ml cream

Instructions

  1. Peel the pears, quarter them lengthways and remove the core. Put the pear quarters in a saucepan, add the cinnamon and sugar and pour on the wine. Let simmer in a covered saucepan over a low heat for 20 minutes. Let cool and whip the cream in the meantime. Then serve the pears garnished with whipped cream.
