Easter Ring with Three Fillings

I propose to bake an Easter ring with three fillings for the Easter holidays. Yeast dough is quite simple to prepare. The filling of dried apricots and raisins can be replaced with any dried fruits, candied fruits, nuts, whatever you like. Bake delicious pastries and treat them to your family and friends.

Ingredients

  • Milk – 250 ml
  • Margarine – 70 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Dry yeast – 2 teaspoon.
  • Flour – 600-650 g
  • Sugar – 150 g
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Dried apricots – 100 g
  • Raisins – 100 g
  • Walnuts – 100 g

Directions

  1. Dilute yeast in warm milk. Beat eggs with a fork. Add sugar, margarine, salt, vanilla sugar, mix.
    Pour the mixture into the milk
  2. Add flour in parts, knead the dough.
  3. Put in a bowl, cover with a towel, let rise in a warm place for about 1.5 hours. Knead the dough and let rise again. Knead the dough, divide into equal parts.
  4. Detail the walnuts. Rinse and dry dried apricots, cut into pieces. Rinse and dry the raisins.
    Roll out each piece of dough into long strips. Lay out the filling, seal the edges, releasing air.
  5. Fasten three strips together on one side and carefully weave a pigtail from them.
  6. Join the edges and secure. Transfer the ring to a baking sheet, leave to rise for about 20 minutes. Grease the cake with yolk and send the Easter ring to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  7. Allow baked goods to cool completely.
  8. Mix a little sugar with boiling water and grease the ring with syrup. Decorate with sprinkles.
