Estonian Cutlets

Unusual and delicious chicken and champignon cutlets. It is in this version, from mixed minced meat, that chicken cutlets are much tastier than their counterparts – chicken zrazy with mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet or minced meat – 500 g
  • Champignons – 350 g
  • Peeled walnuts – 200 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise – 1 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Wash the mushrooms, wipe dry. Wash the chicken fillet and pat dry with paper towels. Finely chop the nuts (on a rotary grater).
  2. Cut the mushrooms into small cubes. Grind the fillet in a meat grinder.
  3. Mix mushrooms, minced chicken and nuts by adding salt, pepper, flour, mayonnaise and eggs.
  4. Form cutlets from the cooked minced meat. To make it easier to form cutlets from viscous minced meat, moisten your hands with water. Fry the chicken cutlets in vegetable oil.
  5. Wide noodles or potatoes are very suitable for garnish with these cutlets.
