Pick the petals from the roses and the tips of the lavender. Put both in an ex-pickle jar with a capacity of approx. 600 g. Add the rock candy (if you like, you can also add a teaspoon of vanilla sugar) and fill everything up to the brim with grain so that all the petals are covered with grain.
Screw on the glass and place it in a not too sunny place for about 6 - 8 weeks and let it steep.
Filter off the liqueur and fill it in bottles.
After filtering, I let the liqueur steep in the cellar for a good 8 months. During the tasting, the taste of the roses came out well, that of the lavender was very subtle.
