Fast “Pizza” on Bread

Honestly, I can’t bake pizza. Rather, I know how to bake, but the result is usually unhappy. Everything seems to me that the dough is not baked enough under the filling. So I decided to try the pizza recipe on ready-made bread. The experiment was successful! Both fast and tasty, just what I need. Although, in essence, these are ordinary hot sandwiches.
Cook: 35 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Bread – 4 slices
- Ham or sausage – 150 g
- Grated cheese – 150-200 g
- Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
- Ketchup or tomato paste – 2 tbsp
- Greens
How to make pizza on bread:
Directions
- Cut the bread into slices across a loaf about 1 cm thick.
- Cut the ham into strips, grate the cheese on a coarse grater (I had a melted one), mix the ketchup and mayonnaise for the sauce.
- Put the bread on a baking sheet, grease each piece with sauce.
- Spread the ham evenly.
- Sprinkle generously with grated cheese on top.
- Bake pizza on bread in the oven at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle the pizza with herbs.
