Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 200 g ham (Serrano)
  • 15 g parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Take the puff pastry out of the refrigerator and let it warm up for a while in a warm room.
  2. In the meantime, cut the Serrano ham into small strips, separate the egg from the egg white.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on the baking mat. Spread the Serrano ham on a sheet of puff pastry, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top.
  4. Brush the second plate with the beaten egg yolk, place this plate with the yolk side on the Serrano ham and cut it in half lengthways. Cut off 1 1/2 cm strips with a sharp knife and turn carefully, place on the baking sheet until the tray is full, 2 trays are required.
  5. The remaining egg yolk is brushed with water over the strips.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
