Ingredients

  • 2 packs puff pastry (frozen)
  • 250 g minced, mixed
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Caraway seed
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • marjoram
  • 1 egg (s)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 bunch spring onion (s)
  • 2 packs feta cheese, plain or seasoned
  • some olive oil for brushing
  • little water to splash
  • Black cumin for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Mix the minced meat with the salt, pepper, paprika powder, caraway seeds, marjoram, the finely diced onion, egg and some breadcrumbs. Cut the spring onions into fine rings and mix them with the minced meat. Dice the feta cheese and add to the mass. Taste the mass to see whether it is seasoned enough.
  2. Roll out the defrosted puff pastry and cut into even squares with a pizza cutter. Put the mixture in the middle with a tablespoon. The corners are pulled into the middle (like a letter) and lightly pressed together. Then place with the opening facing down on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush with a little olive oil and also sprinkle with a little water so that the dough rises nicely. Then sprinkle with the black cumin.
  3. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C and bake the puff pastries in it for about 45 minutes.
