Ingredients

  • 500 g pork fillet (s)
  • 2 onion (s), red
  • 2 zucchini
  • 1 kg pear (s)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 ml red wine
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Wash pork, dice onions, wash and clean zucchini and cut into slices. Wash, peel and cut the pears into eighths (or cut them into smaller pieces).
  2. Heat oil in a pot. Fry the meat vigorously on all sides. Add vegetables and sauté for about 5 minutes. Deglaze with broth, wine and honey. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg and simmer in a closed saucepan for 40 minutes. After about 30 minutes add the pears and stew for another 10 minutes.
  3. Cut the meat into slices and arrange on plates with the vegetables. Serve with rice.
  4. Tip: Thicken the sauce with starch if you want it to be creamy.
