Ingredients

  • 250 g fruit (mixed baked fruit)
  • 500g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 2 egg (s), (weight class 3)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon
  • 1 pinch cardamom
  • 1 lemon (s), untreated, which the peel
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 200 g butter or mararine
  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 50 g almond (s), chopped
  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Cut the baked fruit into fine cubes. Mix the flour and baking powder. Press an indentation in the middle. Add eggs, spices and sugar. Mix with part of the flour to form a thick paste. Add 150 g of fat in pieces, quark, baked fruit and almonds. Knead everything.
  2. Form stollen (15-30cm long), place on a greased baking sheet (baking paper is also possible, of course). Possibly put a sturdy rail made of aluminum foil around the cleat so that it retains its shape. Of course, a cake pan would be ideal. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove 175 ° c / gas stove level 2) for 60-80 minutes.
  3. Melt the remaining fat and coat the hot stollen with it. Dust thick with powdered sugar. Finished!!!!!
  4. Of course you can also fill the stollen with marzipan. You can also omit the almonds and replace them with other nuts or orange peel and lemon peel.
