Ingredients
- 115 g butter
- 90 g suar, brown
- 4 banana (s), ripe
- 60 ml rum, darker
- Ice cream, (vanilla ice cream) for serving

- Melt the butter in a larger pan.
- In the meantime, peel the ripe bananas, cut in half and cut again lengthways. So that you have four halves per banana.
- Once the butter has melted, stir in the sugar and add the bananas. Turn these over once so that they are covered with the butter / sugar mixture. Now stir in on the stove top on a medium heat, let everything caramelize. Some of the bananas also break apart a little. You should be careful with them that you still have whole pieces.
- When the point is reached and everything is caramelized, pour in the rum and remove the pan from the stove. Light the rum, doing this carefully from a safe distance. The flame then becomes smaller by itself and goes out.
- Now let it cool down a bit and place it on plates in the middle while still warm. On top of this comes a scoop of vanilla ice cream, this amount is enough for four desserts.
