Fried Steak with Ginger Sauce

The meat is fried in a pan and served with a sauce of ginger, lime juice, soy sauce, and pepper.

Ingredients

  • Beef steak (cut into strips) – 330 g
  • Fresh ginger (chopped on a grater) – 1 tbsp
  • Lime juice – 2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Ground red pepper – 0.25 teaspoon.
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Green onions (chopped) – 0.5 cups (optional)
  • Lime, sliced for serving – 4 pcs. (optional)

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine sugar, ginger, lime juice, soy sauce, and red pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, brush with oil. Place the meat in the pan and cook for about 4 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove the frying pan from the stove, pour the ginger sauce over the meat, stir. Serve the grilled meat sprinkled with green onions, if desired, serve with lime wedges.
