  • 1 rump steak (s), 80 g each
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 150 g potato (s), cooked firm to the bite
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
  • Herb butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the potatoes into slices approx. 5-7 mm wide. Halve the onions and cut into strips. Wash the rump steak and pat dry.
  2. Preheat the oven to 90 ° C.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Season the meat with pepper and sear for 2 minutes on each side. Then wrap the rump steak in aluminum foil and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  4. Then reduce the heat of the pan and let the onion, cut into strips, soften together with the caraway seeds. Then add the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, put full heat on the pan until the fried potatoes are browned all over, turning several times.
  5. Spread the fried potatoes on the plate, take the rump steak out of the oven, lightly season with salt and sprinkle with herb butter.
