Garlic Croutons

Ingredients

  • Bread – 200-250 g
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves
  • Vegetable oil (preferably olive) – 60-70 g
  • Salt – 0.5-1 teaspoon.
  • Ground black pepper (optional) – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare the required ingredients.
  2. Use a sharp knife to cut the crust off the bread.
  3. Cut the bread without the crust into cubes with a side of 1 cm or 1x1x2 cm cubes.
  4. Peel the garlic and crush it with a garlic spade.
  5. In a bowl, combine vegetable oil, garlic, salt, and pepper (optional).
    Turn on the oven and preheat to 200 degrees.
  6. Place the sliced ​​bread in the prepared sauce. Stir the bread with the garlic oil thoroughly. It is normal for the pieces to not be evenly soaked in the oil.
  7. Spread the bread slices evenly on a baking sheet.
  8. Dry the garlic croutons in a preheated oven, on a medium level, at a temperature of 200 degrees for 10-20 minutes.
  9. Garlic croutons are ready.
