Instructions

  1. Cook the finished or homemade gnocchi in salted water until they float to the surface, then drain.
  2. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into large pieces. Finely dice the onion. Sear the mushrooms in a pan that is not too small over a fairly high heat until they collapse and have a little color, shortly afterwards add the onion and the pressed garlic clove and reduce the heat. The onions should be sweatlessly colorless. Deglaze with the white wine and let the wine boil off. Add the milk and let the cream cheese melt in the sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper and let simmer briefly. Fish out the garlic clove again.
  3. Put the gnocchi in the pan and toss. Sprinkle with a little parmesan when serving.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
