Ingredients

  • 125 g flour
  • 70 g butter or mararine
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 250 ml water
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 2 packs vanilla pudding powder, as well as milk and sugar for it
  • 1 pack chocolate icing, dark
  • some butter

Instructions

  1. Bring the fat, salt, vanilla sugar and water to the boil. Stir in the flour to form a lump and let cool down a little. Mix in the eggs one by one.
  2. Pull the dough apart in portions on the baking sheet with 2 tablespoons (pieces approx. 6 cm long, 2 cm high). Bake at 200 ° C top / bottom heat (under no circumstances circulating air!) For 40 - 50 minutes (possibly shorter, note the empirical values of your own oven). Do not open the oven in between! Let cool in the oven.
  3. For the filling, prepare the pudding normally and put a piece of butter on the warm pudding. Let cool, stir and fill into the cut (like a bread roll) eclairs. Cover with dark chocolate icing.
