  • 8 bread roll (s), stale
  • 375 ml milk
  • 20 g bacon, smoked
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley
  • 3 egg (s)
  • salt
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Cut the rolls into thin slices, boil the milk and pour over them. Let it steep for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the butter and brown the diced bacon in it. Finely chop the onions and parsley and roast them briefly. Add to the rolls with the eggs, salt and nutmeg and knead well.
  3. Rinse your hands with cold water and form medium-sized dumplings. Put in boiling water and let steep for 20 minutes. Serve afterwards.
