  • 0.5 kg ½ dried beans
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 1 bunch celery, cut into pieces
  • 2 onion (s), diced
  • 1 ½ cup tomato juice
  • 1 ½ cup oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • water

Instructions

  1. Soak the beans the day before. The next day, pour off the soaking water.
  2. Put the beans, carrot slices, celery pieces and the onion cubes in a saucepan. Fill everything up with enough water to cover all the ingredients. Add the tomato juice, oil, salt and pepper. Let the soup simmer until all the ingredients are soft. Serve hot.
