Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes (either peel them yourself or buy them cleaned) until soft. Spread out a large piece of aluminum foil, place boiled potatoes on top. Pour oil over it so that all the potatoes are a little drizzled. Pour salt generously over the potatoes, squeeze garlic as desired and pour over. Add thyme leaves. Fold the aluminum foil so that the potatoes are wrapped up. Turn and turn the package a little so that the oil is distributed. Place the package in the embers and, depending on the intensity of the embers, leave for about 20 minutes until the potatoes are crispy.
