Ingredients

  • 250 g wheat flour, (whole rain) or whole spelled flour
  • 250 g wheat flour, 550 (or spelled flour 630)
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped salt
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Teaspoon, leveled baking malt
  • 0.5 ½ cube yeast
  • 270 ml water, lukewarm (up to 300 )
  • Sunflower seeds or other grains

For painting:

  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Make a yeast dough from the specified ingredients, knead briefly. Let the dough rest for about 20 minutes, the volume should have doubled.
  2. Weigh about 10 dough pieces of 80g each and grind into rolls, then let rise for about another 20 minutes at room temperature. Spread the bread roll to taste, cut into it and, if necessary, sprinkle with grains.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven with a small bowl of water at 240 ° C for 18-20 minutes.
  4. The whole grain content can be increased as required, so you need a little more water.
