Instructions

  1. Bring 2 liters of water with the salt to a boil. Meanwhile, remove the outer leaves from the leek, wash it thoroughly and then cut off approx. 15 cm twice from each stick. Briefly blanch the leek in salted water, lift it out with the ladle and let it cool down a little.
  2. Wrap a stick of leek with a slice of ham and place next to each other in a baking dish. Measure out half a liter of the leek water and let it cool down. Then return to the pot, stir in the hollandais powder with the whisk and bring to the boil while stirring.
  3. Then stir in the cheese, lemon juice and nutmeg and stir until the cheese has melted. If necessary, add salt and pepper to taste. Then pour this sauce over the rolls, place on the lowest level of the oven and bake at 180 ° for about 20 minutes. Boiled potatoes go well with it.
  4. I add the hollandaise powder because otherwise I can`t get any hollandaise that is low in fat. If you like, you are of course free to make your own hollandaise.
