Ingredients

  • 1 ½ kg hash browns, homemade
  • 4 dl soup, homemade chicken cream soup (e.g. in my recipes)
  • 500 g sour cream
  • 250 g cheese, stron, rated (Emmentaler, Gruyère, Appenzeller)
  • 2 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed through
  • salt
  • Black pepper from the mill

Instructions

  1. Mix the cooled soup with the sour cream, cheese, onion and garlic well, then add the hash browns and mix everything together well. Season with salt and pepper vigorously.
  2. Put everything in a buttered (gratin) tin and bake for 45 - 60 minutes at 180 ° C in the oven until a nice crust has formed.
  3. Alternatively, mushroom cream soup can be used and if you like, you can add diced peppers.
