Ingredients

  • 300 g puff pastry
  • 4 small apples, (Boskoop)
  • 300 g sausae
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 125 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Lemon zest, grated
  • 2 cl calvados

Instructions

  1. Carefully line a quiche pan with the puff pastry and prick the pastry several times with a fork. Press the sausage meat out of the sausage and spread it on the puff pastry base. The
  2. Core the apples and cut the apples into thin slices, overlap them on the sausage meat and sprinkle with thyme.
  3. Whisk eggs and cream together, season well with salt, pepper and the lemon peel and pour evenly over the apples.
  4. Bake the quiche in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes until golden brown. Take out and immediately sprinkle evenly with the calvados.
  5. Let rest for at least 10 minutes before serving.
