Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce or tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed or grated
  • pepper
  • Caraway seed
  • 6 chicken breasts, cut into pieces approx. 2 cm without skin
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed or grated
  • ml water
  • 3 tablespoon peanut butter, coarse
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon sugar, white
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix the first 6 ingredients in a bowl and add the chicken. Stir well and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Do not marinate overnight.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion over medium heat. Add the garlic and let it brown a little. Deglaze with the water, add the peanut butter, soy sauce and sugar and simmer until everything is well mixed. It should be a creamy, not too thin sauce. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
  3. Put the marinated chicken on the skewers and fry in the pan or on the grill for about 5 minutes on each side. Pour the peanut sauce over and serve.
